EMS Provider of the Year

This award recognizes an EMS professional who has shown extraordinary dedication, skill, and compassion in the delivery of emergency medical care. Whether responding to critical incidents, mentoring colleagues, or improving system operations, this individual consistently goes above and beyond to serve their community. Their commitment to clinical excellence, professionalism, and community service sets the standard for prehospital care in the Lehigh Valley.

Characteristics:

  • Provides compassionate, skillful patient care under all circumstances
  • Demonstrates clinical excellence, integrity, and professionalism in the field
  • Actively contributes to agency training, mentoring, or community outreach
  • Goes above and beyond in their duties during emergency medical responses
  • Positively influences team morale and EMS system performance

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a certified EMR, EMT, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic affiliated with an EMS agency in the Lehigh Valley
  • May be career or volunteer
  • Must be in good standing with the Pennsylvania Department of Health and their EMS agency
  • Contributions should be clearly demonstrated within the past 12–24 months

Selection Process:

Award selections will be based solely on the information presented in the award nomination, selection criteria below. Nominations need to be clear, descriptive and provide specific examples that demonstrate that the person/project/program meets the selection criteria. No self-nomination will be accepted.

The Nominator will be notified once an award recipient has been selected. This will occur after the nomination period closes and the committee has made a selection. LVESC will like invite the nominator and recipient and guest to the Awards & Networking Lunch held during the conference.
