Logan Schwartz is a Lehigh Valley Native & career fireman with a decade of experience. Logan began his fire service career in 2016 in New Tripoli, Lehigh County. In 2017, he was appointed to the Borough of Emmaus Fire Department (IAFF Local 5004), where he currently serves as a Master Firefighter, Union Representative, and Training Instructor. Throughout his career, Logan has been the recipient of numerous unit citations recognizing his actions at fires, rescues, and special operations incidents. In 2020, his fire service journey took him to Anne Arundel County, Maryland (IAFF Local 1563), where he currently serves the community. Logan is assigned to Engine 291, Truck 29, and Medic 29 in the Jessup area of Anne Arundel County. Logan was previously assigned to the Armiger firehouse (Engine 301, Tower 30, Medic 30, and Battalion 2) in the Pasadena area. In 2021, Logan was awarded the Gift of Life Award for his actions at an incident in Pasadena. In addition to his regular assignment, Logan is an active member of the Special Operations Division, serving as a Rescue Diver and frequently detailed to Engine 84/Dive 8. Logan is also a 4 year member of the Lehigh County Special Operations Teams. Prior to his fire service career, Logan graduated from The University of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx, New York. He was a two-time USA Track & Field Academic All-American in Cross Country and Track, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a minor in Political Science. Logan resides in the Lehigh Valley with his wife Allison, their son Owen, and their husky, Sadie.
